That’s the message that we at Mt. Olive proclaim. It’s a life-giving message that God has been given. It’s a message for you today! As our mission statement says, we connect people to Jesus! Hi, I’m Pastor Kevin Jennings, the pastor at Mt. Olive. Since June, 2003, it’s been my privilege to serve Mt. Olive and the surrounding community in Corpus Christi with the love of God in Jesus Christ. Previously, I served Concordia Lutheran Church in Cottage Hills, Illinois. I am a graduate of the Concordia University system in Austin in 1982, and a 1997 graduate of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. In the interim, I served as a Lutheran school teacher, and as a supply officer in the U. S. Navy. I hope you enjoy our web site. I also want to extend a personal invitation to join us in worship and hear the Good News of God’s love in Jesus Christ. Regularly scheduled worship is Sunday mornings at 8 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday School and Adult Bible Class is held each Sunday at 9:15 a.m. Also, there is a regular Wednesday Bible Class at 9:30 a.m. There is also an evening class on Wednesdays at 7:15 p.m. that follows the same study as the morning class.
